New Ground Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community.

At New Ground Church we have no membership requirements. If New Ground Church is your home and you are being feed and ministered to, then you are a member of this body. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at New Ground Church.

Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of New Ground Church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. In the New Ground family we are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as being a greeter, to preparing the church media, and more.

Everyone has something to offer. At New Ground Church we understand that part of the blessing in the growth of a believer isn’t just taking in but also giving out. The Bible says that it’s more blessed to give than to receive. The Bible also says that every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father. Be a blessing and share the good gifts the Lord has entrusted you with, you wont regret it.

New Ground Church currently supports multiple missionaries around the world and we actively look for opportunities to reach out and help support those on the front lines. If you are interested in being apart of a short term missions trip please go to our Contact page and send us an email.

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists.  These volunteers are an important part of the ministry at New Ground Church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God. Please visit our “Worship Ministry” page under the “Ministries” tab for a more in depth understanding of the heart of worship according to the scriptures.

The usher team at New Ground Church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of New Ground Church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. If you have a desire to share you creative talents please go to our “Contacts” page and send us an email.

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer aligns our perspective and heart with God. New Ground Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, before the morning service,  we pray for our community, one another and the teaching of God’s Word. Throughout the week, we encourage you to be our Prayer Warriors. Pray for our pastor, our church family, our community, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16

In order to give our children the best Bible teaching possible, New Ground holds a children’s church service in conjunction with the main service. This special time gives kids more opportunity for interaction and learning in a context and manner that may be better suited to their age and learning styles. Our friendly children’s church volunteers have an endless stream of creativity–ranging from puppet shows, to games, to object lessons. For more information about our Children’s Ministry, please go to the “Children’s Ministry” page under the “Ministries” tab.
